Evangelist Benua Chiweshe
Evangelist Benua Chiweshe is a Servant of the Lord, who is also called an Evangelist of Grace, the City of the Lord, Zion of the Holy One of Israel, an eternal excellence, A joy of many generations, a philanthropist and a mother to many. She is also the leader of Christ Our Refuge and Salvation Ministries, which was founded by our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ in 2015.
In January 2022 she was led by the Holy Spirit to fast for 40days and 40 nights, and during this period she did not eat anything. This is the time she was given, further guidance and instruction for the ministry.
Evangelist Benua, is a Zimbabwean Born British, who was born in December 1971 to the Late Mr and Mrs Tylor Musarara of Musarara Village in Chiweshe. She was born Beaulah Chiweshe, then The Lord Jesus annointed her to be an Evangelist, changed her name, on the 15th of November 2015. Evangelist Benua was born and grew up at Three Sisters farm in Concession Zimbabwe, where her mother was a Teacher, Farm Health Worker and an Envoy of The Salvation Army Church. Evangelist Benua was born in a very humble family. Growing up on a farm was not easy for her and sometimes she had to join the workers on the farm to do manual work in order to help raise school fee. Another challenge was the of lack of educational facilities at the farm, as a result, she moved to Bindura where she ttended Chipadze Secondary School. Evangelist Benua's mother, was a Salvation Army Church Envoy who very
passionate about spreading the word of God and was a driving force behind Evangelist Benua's success. Evangelist Benua and her mother used to walk long distances into neighbouring farms in Concession area, Zimbabwe to preach the word of God. For Evangelist Benua evangelism started at a very tender age. She was born and raised in the Salvation Army Church, and was actively involved as she grew up as a Salvation Army Youth in Bindura. Evangelist Benua received the Lord Jesus as her Lord and Saviour in 1986 at The Salvation Army Church, Chipadze, Bindura. As she grew up she attended several other churches until when the Lord Jesus Called her.
On the 15th of November 2015 Evangelist Benua received a divine calling. The Lord Jesus appeared to her in a vision and told her to leave everything, and follow him in order to preach the gospel of Salvation to All Nations and to teach about the love of God in Jesus Christ, forgiveness, repentance, reconciliation, the gospel of truth, unity, peace, and life, the Lord told her that her life was going to be a testimony, that was going to bring more souls to the kingdom of heaven. The Lord Jesus changed her name from Beaulah to Benua. annointed her, to be an Evangelist to Nations, according to Matthew 24: 14 which says:
And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
The name Christ Our Refuge And Salvation Ministries (CORAS) was also divinely given on the same day. Evangelist Benua was obedient to the word of the Lord and left everything to follow him.
Evangelist Benua learnt that Sometimes when The Lord is building a person he makes it appear as if he is destroying them, only to reveal the building or the finished product in the end. The Lord Jesus said “Benua I made you to go through all these situations in order to humble you, test your faith and your genuineness towards me, to strengthen you, to teach you and to promote you”. During this difficult period, she learnt to put all her trust in the Lord, and did not lose her faith. Instead, her faith in the Lord Jesus increased and saw herself rejoicing in the midst of her storms. Apostle Paul in the book of Romans 5:3-5, says “....we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us. Evangelist Benua started to preach uncompromising gospel of salvation and as a result, many souls have been saved. The Lord has also warned us of temptation to compromise and equipped us to remain uncompromising in the book of John 14:15 The Lord Jesus taught his disciples “if you love me you will keep my commandments.
Evangelist Benua ‘s calling is not from man, but from The Lord Jesus Christ, who is her Lord and Personal Saviour. Since her calling, The Lord Jesus has been her guide through the ministration of the Holy Spirit, whilst stretching his hand in healing and delivering people from all kinds of situations. She is an Evangelist not by works but by the Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth who called her. May Glory and Honour be unto our Lord God the father, The Son, who is Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and to The Holy Spirit, who leads and guide her everyday

Whats the Purpose of our Ministry?
Christ Our refuge and Salvation ministries was founded by our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ with the purpose of preaching the gospel of Salvation to all mankind inorder to bring more souls to the Kingdom of God. This summarizes the main reason why our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ came to earth, that is saving people from sin Matthew 1:2. These days we are so consumed by the cares of this world and sometimes we chose easier options available to us and forget about eternal life. Our ministry is there to remind us that this world is not our home and we are just passing by. And now is the time to prepare for eternal life. In John 14:3 the Lord Jesus said I am going to prepare a place for you, when I come back I will take you to be with me. It is easy to assume that things will be good for us upon his return. The Samaritan woman, in John 4:5-30 she was very confident of herself and also waiting for the Messiah to come. but to her surprise not only did she fail to recognise the Lord Jesus, the Lord Jesus pointed, where she needed to put things right he said “go call thy husband and and come hither” This is exactly what our ministry is all about, through the divine intervention of the holy Spirit, people's souls are being saved, whilst the Lord Jesus stretches his hand in miracles signs and wonders.
We aim to make Heaven and earth celebrate together. In the bible there is one moment when heaven and earth celebrates simultaneously, that is when, one sinner repents. (Luke 15:7 “Just so, I tell you, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety nine righteous ones who do not need to repent.”)
In Matthew 21:2-3 The Lord Jesus sent his disciple to untie the donkey and to bring it to him, he did this just before he entered Jerusalem and this was a parable for the disciples to signal them, what they should do when he was no longer with them, To untie the donkey and bring it to Jesus. These days many people are untied/delivered, healed, and prophesied to in the name of Jesus, but are not taken to Jesus. Therefore the greatest Miracle we celebrate in our Ministry is that of Salvation of Souls.
We as a ministry would like to help to come to the Lord, you might have lost your way due to the cares of this world, or you are yet to give your life to Jesus, to be your Lord and Saviour. It is not too late. Nicodemus asked how can a man be born again, when he is old. The Lord Jesus in John 3:5 reminded him that unless a man is born again of water and spirit he will not enter the kingdom of heaven. And it our duty as a ministry to lead you to Christ. Hence the name Christ Our Refuge And Salvation
Our ministry is there to act as a M.O.T test for both believers and non believers and help people address those areas that can hinder their Salvation. In the United Kingdom cars are tested every year (M.O.T) for fitness on the road and drivers are advised accordingly and rectify the problems so that they are not a danger to themselves and other motorists and to the environment. We believe as children of God we also need to look deep down within ourselves to check if we are still in the right standing with Lord and to repent.
An invitation was already made in Isaiah 1:18-19 “Come now, and let us reason together, Saith the Lord : though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land”.
Statement of Faith
Christ our Refuge and Salvation (CORAS), we preach the Gospel of Salvation through our Lord Jesus.
➢ We believe in the triune of God: God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ), God the Spirit (Holy Spirit)
➢ We believe that man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that comes from the mouth of God. Deuteronomy 8:2, Mathew 4:4. We believe that both the Old and the New testament were given by the inspiration of God and this is the basis of our faith, conduct and doctrine.
➢ We believe that as children of God we must be filled with the Holy Spirit so that we can have power to bear witness of our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ. Acts 1:4-8 Acts 2:38-40. The Holy spirit bears fruits and these are: love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, and faith, Galatians 5:22. Now the Lord is Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is emancipation from bondage 2 Corithians 3:17
➢ We believe in the healing and deliverance in the name of Jesus and calls for the elders of the church to pray over them, James 5:14. The Holy spirit enables us to preach the gospel to the poor, heal the broken hearted, and to set at liberty them that are bruised Luke 4:18.
➢ We believe that our Lord Jesus will return Acts 1:11, Revelation 22:12 “And behold I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according to what he has done
➢ We believe in the that they shall be a resurrection of both the just and the unjust
➢ We believe in the Holy Communion as instructed by our Lord Jesus in Luke 22: 14-20

Lord Jesus I come to you today, I know that I am a sinner, I believe that you died on the cross to save me. You did what I could not do for myself. I am confessing my sins to you today. Forgive me Lord as I forgive those, who have trespassed against me, wash me with your blood, make me whole again. I am inviting you to come into my Heart, be my Lord and my Saviour, write my name in the book of life. I thank you Lord Jesus for saving me.
